New Years Eve...!!!! Let the celebrations begin!
We had the most amazing New Years Eve...spent the night on the decks of my office, the view was too good to pass up! And the best part, we didn't have to spend hours & hours waiting in line for some random spot on the grass over looking the harbor! Nope, we walked up about 6ish, and enjoyed the festivals till about 2 a.m.! It was awesome, Sydney didn't let us down this year on their fire works....they are amazing! There is two shows, one at 9 p.m. & then again at midnight!! Pretty amazing! I heard that they spend up to 5 million on the fireworks each year..so you know, thought we'd better support a good cause...! John, Sue, Rob, Johneen, Amanda, Meg, Jo, Link and Dave all came along to help us celebrate!! It was great fun, there were quite a few other people I work with brought along some family/friends too, so it was pretty packed!! Great way to kick off a New Year...! The next day we spent basking on the beach & snorkeling...a New Years tradition we've started over the last few years!

lol, so i'm back at work and i asked aidan if he wanted to see some pretty fireworks and course his standard answer for anything you ask is always "YEP!" but he shocked me by actually sitting still on my lap the entire minute and a half, haha, and then he wanted to watch it again! quite amazing for this busy bee, lol... we got to watch it twice! it certainly is amazing... hard to comprehend blowing 5 mil in a few beautiful moments... ay yi yi! definitely spectacular tho... someday... pete wrote me an email and thinks we should come next year, lol... if only i could say we could!! anyway looks like you guys had an amazing time... i think it's soooo cool that you guys didn't have to fight for a spot on the lawn, y'all had the best seats ever!! anyway i'll reply to the rest in an email as soon as i get a minute! hugs=)
ah, the new year is great! The fireworks were really pretty...we didn't watch any this year so glad to see yours instead =)
