Bridge Climb -- 134 metres above the ground (439ish feet)!!!

My work decided to do a 'group team building activity'! It was great -- we climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge -- 3 1/2 hours climb, 134 metres (439ish feet) above the water, standing on the edge of the bridge .. amazing, nothing else to say but that. You have 360 degree views of Sydney, and can see as far as the eye can see .. it's unbelievable! We did the sunset climb and watched as the city's lights came on!!

Afterwards we entertained ourselves at a local pub - with tasty appetizers and pizza!! Needless to say it's still winter here .. and it's COLD!!! We were all bundled up like little munchkins, hats, gloves, fleeces, over pants encase it rained, headsets so we could hear our instructor .... everything has to be clipped to your jumpsuit! Next you put on this massive belt, hook yourself to the bridge and up you go!!

Now I'm officially a 'Gold Climber' ... because this was my second time climbing the bridge! =) Woo Hoo!! I climbed it in 2006 with Mom, Aunt Zoe and Brianna --- seems like ages ago now! Needless to say I thought it would be a breeze, but as your standing on top of the bridge right below the flag ... and you lean over and have a look straight now onto traffic.. your stomach does a flip, your heart beats faster and your legs start to wobble .. it's still a longgggg ways up there!!!

(p.s. My American friends .. I can still spell ... Aussies just do everything different there and we like to add 'u's to everything and put our 'e's before our 'r's! =)..ha)
