Friday night cooking session - Saturday Progressive Dinner

What a great weekend!

Friday night we spent cooking up a 'dessert' storm at Tony & Corinne's! After feasting on tasty take-away Thai for dinner, we started cooking at around ... ummmm 10 p.m.! Our job for the Progressive Dinner the following evening - Dessert, Coffee & Tea! We decided to go 'all out' and make a small feast, with enough sugar to keep everyone bouncing late into the night! =) We made chocolate macaroons, mini apple pies, raspberry swirl cheesecakes & apricot meringue! YUM! Everything was 'mini' size! =)

In between cooking we took turns cuddling Sienna -- she is quite a trooper! Even though she was totally out of it, she didn't want to be in her little cot, she wanted to be right in the middle of the action! =)

Uncle Pete getting cuddles - he calls her 'little frog bum' when she sleeps like this =)

Apple pie filling -- cooking away!

Yep -- we were on 'American Apple Pie' duty! =)

Just a few snaps from the Progressive dinner -- one of the best I have to say! We didn't get any photos from our 1st stop at Carol & Hamish's but it was tasty!!! Homemade: Pork Buns, Spring Rolls & Lettuce wraps .. yum! Along side cocktails! =)

Next we headed to Helen & Gaz's for the main course .. Brad & Lynley helped out too, and between then 4 of them they made the most delicious meal! Pork Belly, Chicken Rice and Chinese greens! YUM (again)! =)

Next we hopped in our cars and headed to Tony & Corinne's house for the final 'course' of our meal! =)

Dessert, Tea & Coffee -- what a way to end a fantastic night! =)

Thanks guys for all the fun!! =)

I agree! You guys do some fancy things over there in Australia! By the way, I am SOOO jealous that you are living over there! I had the chance to visit Australia when we were in high school and absolutely LOVED it! Oh is Jason doing?
