Craig & Pete's birthday dinner

So I hosted my first 'official' dinner party at our place on Saturday night. We were partying on with Pete's birthday, and decided to add in a few other celebrations too...Craig's birthday (March 11th) and John & Sue's 30th Wedding Anniversary (March 10th)Considering our place is sooooo small, is was super cozy, but worked out perfectly. Great time spent with family, having heaps of laughs of stupid things and enjoying some great food!!! Happy Birthday Boys...love you both!

Pete's gift...his Omega watch fund! He's been wanting an Omega watch for AGES....and they cost a fortune..so I got him his own little savings bank, and everyone put in some money to start his fund off...!!

The Birthday Cake. Pete LOVEEEESSSS Cheesecake, and that is what he wanted for a b-day cake. I made little individual ones, but couldn't put the candles in them, so ended up having to make this silly looking one in the bread pan! Ohhh well, at least they got to blow out the candles!!

un, what?! you MADE cheesecake- wow, how so very 'suzy homemaker' of you, lol! I LOVE IT!!=) That watch fund for Pete is brillant- what is it with our boys & watches??! Don't you love dinner parties??? Something we miss so terribly around here! We have no one to join us, so it ends up being a party for two.. lol. Anyway so great to see all the happy celebrations your way=)
