BBQ TIME!!!

So it's official we are now proud owners of a beautiful, black, shiny BBQ....Thanks to Craig & Renee (it was our wedding gift)!! We finally have a place to set it up...thinking it would be a quick simple project....we were very WRONG!! It took Pete 3 days of working off & on after work to put the million little peaces together & tighten every bolt!! It was really funny to watch, I just tried to stay out of the way...knowing that 'a woman's option' on a mans job, isn't usually welcome!! HA! Tonight (Monday) we finally enjoyed our very first BBQ!! It was great, we got home from work, went for a 1/2 hour run and then grabbed some steaks from the shop & cooked em' up! Soooo yummy..we are now very ready come summer to settle in...who doesn't love the smell of BBQ's! YUMMMMMMMMM!

Yay for BBQ's!! Nice hard work Pete!! All that hard work will pay off for a very long time i'm sure...=) The smell is uh-mazing right?! It always reminds me of Grandpa and Grandma's and the 4th of July and all things good about summer!=) We sadly don't have our mini BBQ anymore... but we did inherit Narque's... get this...it's an INDOOR George Foreman grill... it comes in quite handy... and Zane knows how to make a very tasty steak on it... yummy, all this talk is making my mouth water!

I would never keep my mouth shut if robert was doing the BBQ. Actualy its more likely that i would set the BBQ up while robert is showering or doing something else that takes him a long time to do.
