Saturday afternoon kayaking...

So Pete and I decided we needed to do 'something exciting' this past weekend...so we rode our bikes about 25 minutes to these 'baths' (swimming area) not too far from our house & rented out kayaks! It's amazing how quiet this city is for being over 4 million people in it!!! You may as well have been out in some state park in the middle of nowhere..it was sooooo quiet. And we weren't, we were about a 10 minute drive from the city!!! Needless to say we had an awesome time...always forget how much fun kayaking is....we've only been 2 other times...once in Thailand and then in Indiana! It's amazing...and soooo peaceful too! We had a great time paddling about for an hour, it was a super warm & sunny day....couldn't have asked for a better day to spend on the water! Our friend Meg came along too, and we enjoyed having some long chats with each other about 'nothing'....it was wonderful!!!
