Amanda has a birthday .. so to Bathurst we go!

Our sweet friend & neighbour Amanda had a birthday - her hubby Pete is amazing and put on a surprise birthday party for you in Bathurst!!! Bathurst is about a 3 hour drive from Sydney - over the mountains and into the country. Needless to say, I was beyond excited for a weekend away from the city!! =) Fresh country air, you cannot beat it! We carpooled with Nick & Bel, so it made for a really fun weekend away! Here's our birthday girl!

And the cake... yes this cake was beyond amazing! The shoe was cake too .. how COOL!! =)

As I mentioned.. we were in the country, I soaked up all the animals & country life I could in 2 days =)

Downtown Bathurst is too cute - the 4 of us decided that we would move there... someday in the not so far off future... someday =) Plus the Cherry trees were in full bloom... so pretty!

We found this great little B&B to stay at on Saturday night.. it's was adorable!

They had the cutest dogs...

The place was also extra cute... a little country home & she baked us a fresh chocolate cake!

Bathurst races are coming up, so we had to take a quick spin around the race track on Mount Panorama

And we had to have a quick tyre change... the pit crew =).. (not really, but posing for photos is always fun!)

Overall it was a really awesome weekend! Until next time xxx
